Inspired Birdhouses

I made this card for IC281 at Splitcoaststampers.  I was inspired by this outfit from Pink Vanilla Boutique: http://www.pinkvanillaboutique.com/item_30/Nautical-Girl-by-Sweet-Plume.htm  I used one of the newly-released birdhouse stamps from Class Act, Inc.  I decided to paper piece the stamp.  I used country-style papers from Graphic 45.

Kitty in the Garden

I made this card for several challenges: a sketch challenge at Paperworks Co. and an inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers (IC281).  I was inspired by this outfit from Pink Vanilla Boutique: http://www.pinkvanillaboutique.com/item_23/Hop-Along-by-Sweet-Plume.htm  For my card, I used two different stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers.  MFP owner, Faith made a card last week where she put the kitty in the watering can.  When I saw that card, I knew I had to do that, as well.  The kitty is from the "More of Speedy the Cat's Friends" set and the watering can and sentiment are from the newly-released "In My Mother's Garden" set.  The patterned papers are from graphic 45.

Stinky Skunks

I made this card for a sketch challenge (SC329) at Splitcoaststampers.  I used the "Stinky Situation" stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers.  The papers and ribbon are also from Mark's Finest Papers.

Easter Cats and Dogs

Here are the Easter cards that I made to be given to the room sponsors at the shelter where I volunteer.  I made 4 dog cards and 21 cat cards.  I needed to keep them clean and simple, since I needed to make so many.  For the dog card, I used stamps from Hero Arts, Stampin Up, and Mark's Finest Papers.  For the cat card, I used photo stamp from Stamp Smith and a sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers.  I am going to enter these cards in the I Did It Creations Easter challenge.

Clear Dollar Stamps Release Day

Today is new release day at Clear Dollar Stamps.  Head over to the site to see the new digital stamp sets.
For my card, I used one of the images and sentiments from the new "Kitchen Clutter" digital stamp set.  I wanted to create a somewhat vintage feel, so I used vintage-style papers by October Afternoon.  I used a Stampin Up border punch to create the upper panel.  It almost reminds me of kitchen curtains.  In keeping the polka-dot theme, I embossed the main panel of the card with a Cuttlebug dot embossing folder.

I just love the baby animals from the "Oh Boy, It's a Girl" stamp set!  For this card, I decided to use the sweet elephant.  It reminds me of a vintage-style elephant, so I decided to use vintage-style papers for my card.  I paper-pieced the elephant and used a Martha Stewart heart punch.  I completed the card by adding one of the sentiments from the set and ribbon from Mark's Finest Papers.

Class Act Challenge Day

Today is the start of a new challenge for Class Act, Inc. stamps! Today's challenge is to make anything but a card.  Head over to the Class Act, Inc. blog to check out the challenge details and to see the beautiful creations by my fellow design team members.

For my project, I made decorated a plastic binder.  I like to use these binders to keep in my car to hold coupons, that way I always have my coupons when I need them.  I used one of the new birdhouse stamps by Class Act, Inc.  I colored it with Copic markers then framed it with brown card stock and patterned papers by Basic Grey.  I completed the binder by adding gingham bows and a matching birdhouse charm.

Simple Easter Lily

I made this card for the Clean and Simple CAS113 challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  We were to use the colors soft aqua, soft yellow, and white.  For my card, I used the "He Is The Lamb" stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers.  I wanted to keep this card clean and simple, so I added minimal embellishments.  The papers used are white and Barely Banana by Stampin Up.  The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.
