Fleur De Lis Birthday card

I made this birthday card using my new Spellbinders Fleur De Lis pendant dies. The border is a Fleur De Lis punch from EK Success. The pendants and Fleur De Lis design create a look of timeless elegance. The paper used for this card is Baja Breeeze, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, and Wild Raspberry DSP from K & Co. The flower is a pre-layered prima flower.

Fairy Tales ATC

I desgined this ATC for the "Fairy Tales" theme exchange at Stamp Your Art Out, a local rubber stamp store. This ATC also meets the color requirements for today's SCS CC232. The colors are Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla, and Taken with Teal. The image on this card is a new silhouette stamp from Great Impressions. I brushed Macropearl Pearl Ex and Broken China stickles over the image to give it a hint of fairy dust. The butterflies are punched from glitter paper and the scroll design is a Cuttlebug die.

New kitten fun

I made this card for a friend of mine who just got a 10-week old kitten. Each day I see her she "complains" about how the kitten is driving her crazy. Anyone who has ever had a kitten knows that to be true. The image on the card is a stamp from Stamp Smith. The image is of a real cat photo. I stamped it on glossy paper, so it almost looks just like a real photo. The sentiment on the inside of the card reads, "I may be difficult but, I'm cute!!"

"Creative Stamper" August layout challenge

I made this card for a layout challenge at a local stamp store called "Creative Stamper." Every month they have a layout challenge and customers vote for their favorite card. The monthly winner receives a $10 gift card to the store. So far, I have won twice! Each of my cards had images of cats on them, so perhaps this one could be a winner, as well.

This card was made with Penny Black's cat and sentiment. I used Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, and Pink Pirouette. Kiwi Kiss was recently retired and I really love this color. I recently took a Copic marker class to help me learn how to use and blend them. I colored the cat with three colors of Copics. I really like the effect these markers make.

CC224 Summer Fun Kitty

I made this card for CC224-Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, and Summer Sun. In addition to these colors I used K & Co's Cintronella paper. The cat image is a free digital stamp from Hambo Stamps. If you haven't yet tried digital stamps, they are fun, inexpensive, and easy to use. The image was colored with Copic and SU markers. The layout of this card is SC229. This card will be sold this weekend at the open house for the no-kill animal shelter where I volunteer.

LSC225 International Flair

Here is my submission for SCS LSC225. For this challenge, we were to use an international print stamp. I had to look high and low to find a stamp in my collection that contained print that was not in English. I chose to use a Bebe carriage stamp from Artful Illusions. This card also meets the color requirements for CC213. The colors used for this card are So Saffron, Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, White, Certain Celery, and SU Delicate Dots DSP. I topped the card off with Bashful Blue ribbon and a layered Prima flower.
