Vintage Dress Form

I made this card for several challenges: Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge SC325 and CC316: Marina Mist, Certain Celery, Baja Breeze. I used Marina Mist card stock and patterned paper with colors similar to Certain Celery and Baja Breeze. I also made this card for Speedy's Friends #48: dry embossing, ink embossing, and part of the image raised. For this card, I used the dress form stamp from the "Sew What?" stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers.

Tea For Two

I made this card for two challenges at Splitcoaststampers: sketch challenge SC326 and CAS112.  For CAS112, we were to cut up the sentiment.  For this card, I used the "Floral Tea" stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers.  The papers used are Crushed Curry and patterned papers by Crate Flower.  I used a scrap of decorative lace trim that I found in one of my ribbon boxes.

Sacked out Kitty

I made this card for sketch challenge STVSKSP19 at Stamp TV.  I used a digital kitty image from Clear Dollar Stamps.  I just love this little kitty!  He is all sacked out after eating all of the kitty chow!  I printed the image then colored it with Copic markers.  I used several cat-themed patterned papers and a paw print border punch.

Bee Happy

I made this card for the One Layer Wednesday challenge #47, which was a sketch challenge.  I am also entering this card in this week's Stampin B's challenge #104.  We were to use stamps as a background and not use patterned papers.  For this card, I used the "Happy Pansies" stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers.  I used the bee stamp to create the background.  I traced around two Spellbinders dies to create the frame.  With it being a one layer card, I was unable to use layered papers.  In the center of the frame, I stamped the small pansy stamp and one of the sentiments from the stamp set.

Mouse with Flowers

I made this card for two challenges at Splitcoaststampers: sketch challenge SC326 and WT316.  For WT316, we were to use flowers.  On my card, I used floral patterned paper, a sunflower Spellbinders die, and a flower stamp.  The stamps used us for this card are "Greet the day with Gerber" by Mark's Finest Papers.  The card stock and ribbon are also from Mark's Finest Papers.  The patterned papers are by Graphic 45.  I think this is such a sweet little mouse!

Playful Kitty

I made this card for FS216 at Splitcoaststampers.  I cased a card by Quixotic on SCS.  I replaced the dog with a digital kitty image from Clear Dollar Stamps.  I used a cute cat-themed patterned paper and a ribbon with paw-prints.  I decided to make an orange cat to look like my cat Sparky.  I like the way it turned out, but it is much darker than Sparky.

Spring in Holland

I made this card with the Holland stamp set by Class Act Inc.  I used sketch STVSKSP18 from Stamp Tv.
This sketch lends itself well to these images.  I used the colors from challenge #134 at the Color Throwdown challenge: Old Olive, Marina Mist, and Pumpkin Pie.  In addition to these colors, I added Daffodil Delight.  I completed the card by adding a ribbon and strip of half pearls.

Simple Floral

I made this card for CC315 at Splitcoaststampers.  We were to use So Saffron, Pear Pizazz, and Regal Rose. I didn't have any Pear Pizazz ink, so I substituted it for Kiwi Kiss. For my dessert option I used a pearl. I also made this card for WT315 at Splitcoaststampers: ink it up with color. I used a floral medallion stamp from Class Act Inc. from the England Doll stamp set to make the background paper.  I completed the card by adding a ribbon and layered Prima flower.

Japanese Lady

I made this card for a sketch challenge (SC325) at Splitcoaststampers.  I used a Class Act Inc. stamp from the Japan Doll stamp set.  I stamped her in black then colored her with Copic markers that coordinate with the patterned paper by Graphic 45.  This sketch turned out to be a fun one to work with. I completed the card by adding a coordinating layered Prima flower.

Kitty Teapot

I made this card for CAS111 at Splitcoaststampers.  It is based on a sketch by Lisa Lara, a fellow design team member at Clear Dollar Stamps.  For my card, I used a kitty teapot digital image by Clear Dollar Stamps.  I decided to flip the sketch and make the card horizontal.  I printed the kitty then colored it in with Copic markers.  I kept the card clean and simple by adding a minimal amount of embellishments.  I was so glad I was able to make this card tonight, as it has been over a week since I have made a card.  Lack of time and creativity!

Clear Dollar Stamps Release Day

Today is new release day at Clear Dollar Stamps!  Head over to Clear Dollar Stamps to see the new stamps and digital releases.
For my card, I used the newly-released "Sentimental Puppy" digital image from Clear Dollar Stamps.  The digital set contains this sweet puppy image along with several coordinating sentiments.  I printed the puppy, colored him with Copic markers, then cut him out.  I used the dog-themed Max and Whiskers patterned papers by Basic Grey.  I used sketch 322 (SC322) from Splitcoaststampers.  I completed the card by adding a "go fetch!" dog brad.

Today, we are featuring "Grandma's Boudoir" stamp set:
For my card, I wanted to highlight the wonderful dog and chair image.  I did this by inking a portion of the stamp.  I colored the image with Copics then used Tim Holtz Distress inks to color the edges.  I ran the base panel through a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I completed the card by adding a piece of black lace.

Today, we are featuring the "African Veldt" stamp set:
For my card, I wanted to spotlight the wonderful elephant stamp in the "African Veldt" set.  I stamped the elephant onto white card stock, cut it out with a Spellbinders wonky squares die, then colored it with Copic markers.  For the background panels, I used the Ambrosia paper pad by Basic Grey. I stamped the solid elephants onto the lower half of the card and added a piece of orange fiber to complete the card.

Today, we are featuring the "Just Dandy" stamp set:

For my card, I wanted to spotlight one of the beautiful dandelion stamps and one of the larger sentiments.  This sentiment has a great font!  I simply stamped the dandelion in black onto red to create a dramatic look.  No coloring needed!  The papers used are black, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight by Stampin Up, and patterned paper by October Afternoon. I completed the card by adding some white dots and black and white ribbon for contrast.

Head over to the Mark's Finest Papers blog to see the lineup for today's blog hop!  Be sure to join us tomorrow for day 2 of the hop!

I am entering this card in this week's Stamp TV color challenge: red, black, and yellow.

For my card, I used the tulip stamp from the new Holland Doll stamp set by Class Act, Inc.  I stamped the tulip with Versamark then embossed it with black embossing powder.  I colored the flower with Copic markers then framed it with a laced oval made with a Spellbinders die.  The papers used are black, Crushed Curry, and Tangerine Tango by Stampin Up, and patterned paper by Graphic 45.  I completed the card by adding a black ribbon and a black half pearls (bling).  Be sure to join us today and the first Friday of each month for a new challenge.
