Craft Your Passion Challenge Day

Today there is another challenge over at the Craft Your Passion Challenge blog. Today we are having a color challenge: orange, yellow, and blue.  Head over to the blog to read about the details of this challenge. For my card, I used an image from Cocodingo Digital Stamps.  I printed the image three times.  I colored the moon with Tim Holtz Distress inks and the clown with Copic markers.  The colored the base image, which contains the stars, with distress inks.  I layered and put together the image.  I framed the scene with a Nestabilities die.  I embossed the background layer with a Sizzix embossing plate.  The embossing plates create a more subtle impression than the embossing folders.  I completed the card by adding ribbon, rhinestones, and a small star charm.
