Speedy The Cat's Friends Challenge Day

Today there is a new challenge at the MFP Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge Blog!  The challenge today is a color challenge: red, orange, and yellow.  You can read more about the challenge details on the blog. For my card, combined two different stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers.  I used the chicken wire background and sentiment from the "Chicken Scratch" set, and the large chick from the "Spring and Easter" set.  I just love using this chick!  I stamped the chicken wire in black then sponged the scene with Tim Holtz distress inks.  I also used distress inks to color the chick.  The papers used are Ripened Tomato from MFP, Summer Sun from Stampin Up, and patterned paper from Basic Grey's June Bug collection.  I completed the card by adding red brads and gingham ribbon from MFP.
